You are a senior and free to travel, where ever you wish. But, beware, there are people out there that wish to scam you out of the money you will use to pay for that travel. How to beat the scam's and travel safely.
Have you ever received a letter telling you to buy a membership, to a travel club, and you will receive a discounted travel price menu. You can book your own trip and save, save, save. What will happen? Your trip will be substandard and you will pay a fee to the agent that you talk to, to book the trip, plus the membership fee, which is collected from you each year. Don't fall for it.
You come across an ad that states you can travel for a low stated price and stay in a 5 star hotel or cruse on a 5 star luxury cruse ship. First call the agency that sent the ad and ask specificity what hotel and cruise ship they where referring to. Nine times out of ten, you will never have heard of them. If it sounds too good to be true, it is a scam..
There are agents out there selling time shares, that will let you travel all over the world for almost nothing. You will have to pay them thousands of dollars to be able to get these trips, for a very unbelievable price, and you have to sign a contract, to pay them the money, but when you try to book a trip you find there are many obstacles in you way. Your trip will cost more than if you went to a respectable and known travel company. Please Beware, Beware.
