I am a senior, who is widowed and loves to travel.  I have traveled quite extensively to Europe, the Caribbean, the United States including Hawaii and Alaska and even to South Africa.   Some of these wonderful trips, I traveled with my husband, but after his death, I  travel to keeps me young and eager to learn more about this world.

To travel, you have to stay fit and healthy.  I focus on prevention, rather than wait until I am ill to go to the doctor.  I also stay active, to be able to walk through air ports and the cobbled streets in Europe.  Being fit and healthy is the number one rule to travel and a happy life.

My passion is art and learning new genres to give me change and interest.  I went to college and was awarded a "Bachelor of Fine Art" degree, which made me want to travel, to visit the places my studies took me to.  Paris through Provence to Nice was my favorite.  The trip was "following the Impressionist" which introduced me again to Chagall, Gauguin, Van Golf, Matisse, and Cezanne, to name a few.  We visited their studios, places they hung out at and places they laid their heads down for rest.  It was a trip of a life time.

Now I am an Antique Dealer, and travel the United States, hunting for antiques to sell in my booth at an Antique Mall.  The hunt is wonderful as well as redecorating the booth each week.  I also have conquered the computer and the internet and am a Domain owner.  My Domain is "Senior Safe Travel" and is dedicated to the message of safe travel, where to travel and tips on making your travel easier.   My next adventure is to Ireland and the UK.
